YOUR ACCOUNT
Delete your account
Quiet uses a Shogun Account. You can request deletion here even if the app is no longer installed.
Deleting this account permanently removes it and account access to every Shogun Dot Dev service or tool using it, including Quiet. This cannot be undone. Requesting an email code alone does not delete anything.
Request and confirm deletion
- Sign in to your account on this website. In app versions with account deletion, you can also open Settings → Account in Quiet.
- Open Delete account and read the warning about all Shogun Dot Dev tools.
- Select Email me a confirmation code. The email goes to the address of your signed-in account.
- Return to that account's deletion section and paste the code. Codes are single-use and expire after ten minutes.
- Select Permanently delete account and confirm. Wait for the success message. If the request fails, the account has not been confirmed as deleted; contact support if you need help.
What is removed
Successful confirmation removes your central sign-in account, linked sign-in methods and shared login sessions. Account-linked subscriptions are cancelled before deletion can finish; a cancellation failure prevents the account-deletion flow from completing. Subscription cancellation does not itself promise a refund.
What may remain
Former closed-test records: tester reporting and the super-admin dashboard have been retired. Current Quiet versions no longer include the Closed testing screen, and the website rejects new enrollment and activity uploads from older versions too. To remove an existing tester record, contact [email protected]. An older app's Stop and erase activity action still works while signed in and online. Shared account deletion does not automatically erase the separate roster or activity. Activity and dashboard audit records older than 90 days are removed at service startup and daily while the service runs.
Separate Shogun tools are responsible for their product-specific records. Billing, audit, security, support and backup records may be retained for applicable legal, security, recovery or request-handling purposes. Their retention periods depend on the record and reason. The central account-deletion operation does not automatically erase all product databases or records held by external providers.
To request deletion of associated information in other Shogun tools, email [email protected], identify the tools and information concerned, and say whether you have already deleted your shared account. We may verify ownership and will explain any information that must be retained and why.
Remove Quiet data from your phone
Quiet's schedules, trusted lists, blocks, cached contact names, call-decision history and any chosen caller background photo stay on your device. Signing out or deleting the shared account does not remove them, and signing in does not upload them.
You can remove a saved caller photo in Settings > Personalization while signed in to the account that selected it, even after Pro expires. Signing out or deleting the account stops that photo applying. To remove all local Quiet data, use Android Settings → Apps → Quiet → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall Quiet. Device wording may vary. This resets Quiet's local configuration and does not delete contacts from Android's address book, your carrier's records, or the shared account. Choose another default Phone app if you are stopping use of Quiet.
If you cannot sign in
Contact [email protected] from your account email if possible. Explain whether you need account deletion, deletion of specific information, or help with access. Do not send your password or deletion code. We will use proportionate ownership checks before taking action.
You can continue using local call rules without an account. Read the Privacy policy for more about retention and your rights.
